Here is a Christmas themed version of galaxy painting (see earlier posts) that I did over the weekend. First I cut a piece of white paper into thick strips. Then I wrote my friends’ names on each strip in either green or red paint. The trick to this step is to take your time and form the letters slowly or else you won’t be able to read them. Next I took the opposite paint color and painted dots in the letters to make them look like wreaths. Again this step should not be done too quickly. I then took a Q tip, dipped it in various shades of light blue paint and dabbed it around the letters to create snowflakes. After I finished painting I let it all dry overnight. The next day I took some red construction paper and cut into strips slightly bigger than the letter paintings. Then I grabbed a glue stick and glued each painting to a red strip.
